The two-day version
Day 1: arrive, check in and keep golf optional. If your arrival is early and reliable, a short course can be a better fit than a prepaid 18-hole tee time. Day 2: make one full round the anchor of the day, then leave a flexible window for lunch, the hotel and dinner. If you fly home that evening, only book after working backward from airport arrival and airline baggage requirements.
The three-day version
Day 1: settle in, practice or play Cloud Nine if timing works. Day 2: choose your destination round—TPC Las Vegas or a Paiute course—and keep the evening relaxed. Day 3: choose a course convenient for your hotel and onward travel, or skip the second round if departure is tight. Do not turn a flight deadline into a rushed back nine.
Choose the hotel around the whole group
A Strip base makes sense when shows, restaurants and non-golfers drive the itinerary. A west-valley base can make sense when most rounds are around Summerlin. Compare the full trip, including transport, resort fees and parking, rather than the room price alone.
One shared booking checklist
Collect dates, player count, skill levels, preferred yardages, left- or right-handed rental needs and budget per golfer. Assign one group contact. Confirm tee times, payment deadlines, cancellations, weather policies and maintenance notices in writing. For a large group, ask the club about consecutive tee times rather than assuming a single online booking covers everyone.
Leave space between commitments
Two rounds across a three-day trip are a sensible starting point for many groups. Add more only when everyone wants a golf-first schedule. Set dinner after a recovery and transport buffer, and keep an arrival-day tee time flexible until flights and check-in are clear.
