Closest is a hotel-specific decision
The Strip is long. A course convenient for Wynn or Encore may not be the simplest choice from a south-Strip hotel. Use your actual pickup address, the tee time and expected traffic when planning transport. We avoid fixed drive-time promises because event traffic and hotel pickup routes vary.
Three starting points
Bali Hai is on South Las Vegas Boulevard and suits a south-Strip golf plan. Wynn Golf Club is at the Wynn resort and suits a central-to-north Strip stay. Las Vegas National is off the Strip and offers a traditional alternative. All three have detailed course pages below so you can compare addresses and tee information.
Protect the rest of your day
Budget a half-day block for an 18-hole outing, including check-in, warm-up, the round and travel. This is a planning allowance, not a promised pace of play. Avoid a prepaid dinner or show immediately after the expected finish. Confirm rental clubs in advance and allow time to collect them.
When a longer transfer is worth it
If golf is the main reason for the day, widen the search to Summerlin or Paiute. Keep those rounds separate from a tightly scheduled Strip afternoon. For a mixed group, make the non-golfers’ plans independent of your finish time.
