Las Vegas golf groups of 8–16: how to plan without the chaos

Practical tee-time blocks, rooming lists, club-bag transport and shared decisions for mid-sized groups.

GolfArranged · Updated October 14, 2026

Count golfers and travelers separately

A group of twelve people may have only eight golfers. Count non-golfers, double-check how many need rental clubs and whether skills vary widely. This affects hotel rooms, course selection and transportation. Assign one group coordinator to consolidate decisions rather than accepting twelve conflicting messages.

Ask for tee-time blocks, not one tee time

Many courses group players into foursomes. Eight golfers may require at least two tee times; sixteen may require four. Exact intervals, group booking rules, minimum spend and deposits are supplier-specific. The course—not an itinerary mockup—confirms whether the whole group can be accommodated.

Golf bags change the vehicle calculation

Do not reserve ordinary transport based only on the passenger count. Ask about the actual number of bags, size of rental sets, pickup address and any return journey from a course far outside the Strip. Make one written pickup plan.

Keep deposits and cancellations transparent

Record who has paid, which individual is responsible for deposits, and when the group must give a final player count. Do not promise a refund before the operator confirms the actual terms. Leave an option for a non-golfer activity while the foursomes play.

The group organizer’s booking checklist

  • Ask the course how many consecutive tee times it can hold for your date.
  • Request one written rate that identifies taxes, rentals, carts, required caddies and deposits.
  • Collect player count and handicaps before making final pairing decisions.
  • Agree in advance who pays, who signs supplier terms and who communicates changes.

Choose accessibility over headline rankings

The best course for twelve visitors may not be the most famous one. Look at whether the course supports consecutive foursomes, how bags fit into transportation and whether it can accommodate non-golfer arrangements. A practical location can matter more than an extra mile of course prestige.
